The Celestial Earth Launches ‘Waterbodies of Gurugram City’ Coffee Table Book/Report at Aravalli Green Wall Partnership Summit
The Celestial Earth team is pleased to announce the completion of the 'Waterbodies of Gurugram City' coffee table book/report, developed under the expert guidance of Shri Subhash Chander Yadav Ji (IFS, Conservator of Forests, Gurugram). This initiative received strong support from the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG), the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA), and the Haryana Forest Department.
The work was formally launched by Shri Bhupender Yadav Ji, Honourable Union Cabinet Minister for Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Government of India, and Shri Rao Narbir Singh Ji, Minister of Environment & Forest, Government of Haryana, at the Aravalli Green Wall Partnership Summit 2025, held in Gurugram from February 6-8. The event also saw the participation of other respected PCCFs of the Government of Haryana and eminent personalities.
Additionally, Celestial Earth’s video on Mangar Bani & Sacred Grove conservation, created as part of IPBES’s monitoring assessment, was showcased and well-received. The video can be viewed on YouTube: Mangar Bani- A Sacred Grove & Palaeolithic site in Aravalli.
On the final day of the summit, the team joined a nature walk at Bhondsi Nature Park, guided by Shri Subhash Chander Yadav Ji, further underscoring our collective commitment to environmental conservation.
